Martian Base: Addressing criticism, doubts, and tough questions #2
2026-07-25 15:02
🚀 What will people do there in winter? Which facilities will be built first? How much does the project cost? Where will you get the funding to make it happen? What makes you so confident the project will succeed—or even get built at all?
These are just a few of the questions we regularly receive from followers, investors, and people discovering the project for the first time.
Instead of answering everyone individually, we decided to record a video series where we openly discuss the project and answer the most common—and the toughest—questions.
In Part 2, we cover:
📌 What will people do there in winter? Will you close down during the winter months?
📌 It used to be such a great natural spot, but now you’re moving in with your tourist cabins—maybe you shouldn't?! Or: it was such a cool place, but now there’ll be fences everywhere and entry will cost money... whereas before, anyone could just show up!
📌 Which facilities will be built first? And when can the first guests arrive?
📌 How much does the project cost? Initially, the figure was 55 million; now it’s 86 million. I think even 86 million is very low for a project like this. What do you say?
📌 Where will you get that much money to implement the project?
📌 A 2–3 year payback period? I don't buy it... I’ve invested in glamping sites and built my own... It takes at least 4 years—what’s the catch?!
📌 What makes you so confident the project will succeed—or even get built at all?
We believe that trust begins with open dialogue. That’s why, in this video series, we speak honestly not only about the project's strengths but also about the challenges we face during its implementation.
If you still have questions after watching, please feel free to ask them in the comments. The most interesting ones will be included in future episodes of this series.
