We are creating a next-generation scientific and tourist complex in Russia that combines space, science, travel, technology, and immersive architecture.
This is not just glamping, and not just an observatory. Our goal is to create a place where people can spend a few days as participants in a simulated off-world expedition, living at the Martian Base: residing in futuristic modules, observing space, and taking part in research, educational programs, and analog missions.
And most importantly β the project has already passed the main design stage and is approaching the transition from blueprints and visualizations to physical implementation.
π₯ WHERE WE ARE NOW
A lot of work has been done in the first phase:
β Main design stage completed. Architectural concept, design and technical solutions, financial model, business plan, and key documentation have been developed. The next major phase is construction and the physical creation of the Martian Base.
β 11 out of 12 stages of land plot formalization completed. The project has passed the main approval procedures with state and municipal authorities.
π 3.1338 hectares in the "Ural Mars" area β the future site of the complex.
Here, we plan to place residential futuristic modules, an observatory, a Mission Control Center, a restaurant, public and scientific-educational spaces, engineering infrastructure, art objects, and other elements of the base.
π WHY "URAL MARS"?
This is one of the most unusual natural and technogenic locations in the Urals: the terrain, soil color, and scale of the space visually resemble an otherworldly landscape.
It is here that we want to combine a real territory + architecture + stay scenarios + science + technology so that people come not just to spend the night in nature but to become participants in an entire story.
We are not selling square meters of accommodation. We are creating the experience of an expedition to another planet.
π¬ SCIENCE + TOURISM + SPACE
The concept combines several areas at once:
Scientific and educational tourism;
Astronomy and space observation;
Citizen Science β public participation in scientific research;
Analog Martian missions;
Educational programs;
Expeditions and research;
Technological experiments;
Event tourism;
Immersive scenarios and gamification.
This creates not just an accommodation facility but an independent scientific and tourist ecosystem.
π THE PROJECT'S POTENTIAL IS MUCH GREATER THAN ONE BASE
For us, the "Martian Base" is the first pilot of the larger Science Citizen Glamping model.
Our long-term strategy is to implement the first three thematic scientific and tourist complexes in Russia, test the business model in practice, develop standards and technologies, and then scale the concept to other regions and countries, including through a franchise model.
The concept for the second project in the network β the scientific and tourist complex "Mushroom Civilization", dedicated to mycology and human interaction with the world of fungi, has already been developed.
In other words, our goal is not just to build one unusual tourist facility but to create a new scalable format for popular science tourism.
π° ECONOMIC POTENTIAL
We see the Martian Base as a project with multiple potential revenue streams:
In the future, this could be supplemented by scaling the Science Citizen Glamping model itself and developing new thematic complexes.
That is why, for investors, the value of the project potentially lies not only in the economics of a single tourist facility but also in the opportunity to participate at an early stage in the formation of a larger ecosystem and brand.
Investments are always associated with risk, and future financial results depend on the project's implementation β but it is now that its key physical and intangible assets are being created.
π AN INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY IS ALREADY FORMING
The project is presented on an international crowdfunding platform.
Today, a community of 4,500+ participants, investors, and partners from different countries has formed around it.
We have created the Founders Club TOP-100 β a closed international community of the project's first founders and investors.
For us, it is especially important that a community of people is gradually emerging β not just an audience, but people who follow the project's development for years, invest, talk about it in their countries, and help it grow.
π₯ WE PUBLICLY SHOW HOW THE PROJECT IS BEING BUILT
We decided to document the journey of the Martian Base almost from the very beginning.
We have already launched:
π¬ Two YouTube channels β Russian-language and international; π‘ Telegram channels for the project; π Language communities; π± VKontakte community.
More than 35+ videos have already been published, showing how the project has evolved from an idea and the first visualizations to design, land work, production, and future construction.
We regularly collaborate with bloggers, media communities, and the press.
Our goal is for the media to eventually become a separate asset of the Science Citizen Glamping ecosystem, allowing the audience to watch the project's creation almost in real time.
π WHAT HAS ALREADY BEEN ACHIEVED
During the project's development:
β Entered the TOP-300 ideas of Russia at the "Strong Ideas for a New Time" forum by ASI and the Roscongress Foundation; β Received support from the Investment Attraction Agency of the Sverdlovsk Region; β Began work and interaction with scientific and industry organizations; β Developed the architectural concept and key design solutions; β Created a prototype of the first futuristic residential capsule and designed its interior; β Completed 11 out of 12 stages of land formalization; β Developed a financial model and business plan; β Formed an international crowdfunding community of 4,500+ people; β Created the Founders Club TOP-100; β Released 35+ videos about the project's implementation; β Presented the project at EXPOTRAVEL, investment events, and in business communities; β Developed the concept for the second Science Citizen Glamping complex.
Now, our key task is to turn one and a half years of intellectual, organizational, and design work into a physically existing object.
π€ PARTNERS AND SUPPORT
At various stages of the project's development, we have interacted and worked with representatives of the Kourovka Observatory, UrFU, the Tourism Development Center of the Sverdlovsk Region, the Investment Attraction Agency, ASI, the Bogdanovich District Administration, ASTROSIB LLC, the IBMP RAS, the Traektoria Foundation, as well as entrepreneurs, experts, bloggers, and media representatives.
β€οΈ OUR MAIN ASSET β PEOPLE
Over this time, investors, scientists, entrepreneurs, engineers, travelers, bloggers, and simply people who are close to the idea of exploring the world have gathered around the project.
That is why we see Science Citizen Glamping not just as a business.
We want to create an international community around science, travel, research, and the technologies of the future.
βοΈ HOW TO BECOME PART OF THE PROJECT
You can:
πΉ Follow the construction and development of the project; πΉ Join our community; πΉ Become a member of the Founders Club TOP-100; πΉ Consider participating in the project through crowdfunding or direct investment; πΉ Propose technological, scientific, or commercial partnerships; πΉ Join the team; πΉ Tell your audience about the project or create a joint media project.
We are open to cooperation with investors, universities, scientific organizations, technology companies, tour operators, architects, manufacturing enterprises, bloggers, and media.
βΈ»
π Today, the Martian Base exists in documentation, architecture, technology, team, and community. The next step is to make it a physical reality.
We are building not just a facility on 3.1338 hectares. We are trying to create a new format for travel where tourism becomes a way to explore the world.
The first destination β Ural Mars. π
