Friends, as you know, we visited Astrosib, a company that manufactures equipment for astronomical observatories.
We selected a telescope and dome for our observatory.
ASTROSIB PF500 Telescope
The telescope's design features:
- Carbon fiber truss structure, minimizing the effects of temperature changes. - Climate control. - Automatic covers on the primary mirror and prime focus lens hood. - Highly accurate and fast pointing to any celestial object. - Highly accurate tracking of celestial objects at stellar or other velocities. Thanks to high-resolution optical angular sensors, additional guiding is, in most cases, not required. - Ability to control all telescope components from third-party astronomy applications supporting the universal ASCOM platform.
The equipment has been selected, and the contract for purchase and installation is being finalized. Once installed, the Ural Mars Observatory will become a modern platform for astronomical observations and scientific tourism.
